A 29-acre estate with an Orangery and an Oak Barn
Bredenbury Court Barns is at Bredenbury in Herefordshire (HR7 4TB), on a 29-acre estate the venue places 45 minutes from Birmingham, 30 minutes from Worcester and an hour from Cheltenham. Its own website describes a naturally light 1920s Orangery for ceremonies, a West Lawn gazebo as the outdoor alternative, and an Oak Barn with an oak frame and glazed walls overlooking the Malverns and the distant Cotswolds for the wedding breakfast and dancing.
We photographed Chloe and Jack's wedding here on 25 August 2026, and their day is the one in this guide: a ceremony in the light-filled Orangery, a walk back up the aisle through petals and portraits on the parched lawn under a beech tree, with the manor house behind. Our Herefordshire guide shows more weddings in the county, and here we stay with the estate. What we say about the buildings comes from the venue's own website, and what we say about the photographs comes from looking at them.
For current venue details, explore Bredenbury Court Barns. Ask the venue which parts of the estate and the manor house front are open to you for portraits, since this wedding was at the end of August.
01 / The spaces / From the venue's own description
The Orangery, the Oak Barn and the lawns
The venue's website describes the Orangery as a naturally light 1920s room used for ceremonies, with an outdoor ceremony at the West Lawn gazebo as the alternative, and says the Orangery also works as a drinks space in bad weather. The Oak Barn, with its oak frame and glazed walls, is used for the wedding breakfast and for dancing, linked to the Atrium bar. The manor house front and the South and West Lawns are named as drinks reception locations.
The page does not give capacity figures, so ask for the ceremony, dinner and evening numbers in writing. It also says the whole estate is booked for the couple, with no shared spaces, and names Jenkinsons as its caterer.
02 / August 2026 / Chloe and Jack
Chloe and Jack: a light-filled Orangery, petals in the aisle and portraits under a beech tree
Chloe and Jack married on 25 August 2026. The photograph at the top of this page shows them walking back up the aisle hand in hand through petals thrown by their guests, Chloe in a veil with a bouquet of white flowers and Jack in black tie, skylights above them.
In the ceremony room, the Orangery, the best man stands beside Jack as he puts the ring on Chloe's finger, a bouquet of coral and white flowers in front of them. Then Jack signs the register while Chloe watches him.

Their portraits were on the lawn below the manor, where the grass had turned golden in the summer. In a wide view they stand together beneath a large beech tree with the red-brick house and a flagpole behind them.

In the next two, Chloe and Jack walk arm in arm on the lawn with a stone balustrade and a tall cypress behind them, and then Jack kisses Chloe's forehead under the branches of the beech tree, the manor softly out of focus.

Planning your photographs at Bredenbury Court Barns
A few things worth asking the venue, and how we would plan around the answers:
- Ceremony: Chloe and Jack married in the Orangery. The venue lists the West Lawn gazebo as the outdoor alternative, so ask which suits your numbers and what the wet-weather plan is.
- Confetti: The petals made one of the best photographs of the day. Ask the venue what it allows, so you know which kind to buy.
- Getting ready: The venue offers a VIP Ready Suite and on-site rooms. Ask which you can use for getting ready and when they open, so we can plan the morning.
- The manor and the lawns: The manor house front and the South and West Lawns are named as drinks locations and gave this couple their portraits. Ask which parts are open to you and when.
- Group photographs: We do as many as you like and typically recommend around 15, which usually take about 20 minutes. Choose somewhere with room and a sheltered backup, and ask a groomsman or bridesmaid who knows everyone to round people up.
- Portraits: We usually take a portrait walk of about 15 minutes, with photo and video together. The lawns, the beech tree and the manor front give you very different backdrops.
One team for the photographs and the film

Cam and Beth have photographed and filmed over 400 weddings together, so a light-filled Orangery, a glass-walled barn and a lawn in front of a manor house is familiar territory. You get one conversation about the timetable, one set of questions for the venue and one plan for the portrait walk.
The photo and video team package carries a £120 deposit and a £400 saving over booking photography and videography separately. We are based near Cardiff, and travel across England and Wales is included in standard full-day packages. When the drive is over two hours we always stay in a hotel the night before and cover it.
