REDDITCH, BROMSGROVE & ALVECHURCH WEDDING GUIDE
Wedding Photographer and Videographer Near Redditch, Bromsgrove and Alvechurch
A flower arch beside a lake near Droitwich, gardens near Kidderminster and country houses across Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire, all within reach of the south side of Birmingham. Natural photographs and wedding films, with every venue labelled by where it really is.

In short: Bright Sight is Cam and Beth, a photo and video duo based near Cardiff. This guide follows eleven real weddings within reach of Redditch, Bromsgrove and Alvechurch: Elmbridge Farm near Droitwich, Hogarths Stone Manor near Kidderminster and Curradine Barns in Shrawley, with neighbouring venues in Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire, each labelled with where it really is. Standard full-day packages start at £2,099 for photography, £2,099 for videography or £3,799 for both, with travel included and a £120 deposit to secure your date.
Weddings around Redditch, Bromsgrove and Alvechurch
Redditch, Bromsgrove and Alvechurch sit in north Worcestershire, on the south side of Birmingham, and couples searching here are usually choosing between a lakeside farm, a country barn and a country house within a short drive of one another. Guests often arrive from Birmingham and the Black Country, and the railway line from Birmingham serves all three towns.
Cam and Beth work as a photo and video duo, quietly in the background of your day. We want the confetti thrown at the doorway, the bridesmaids' toast in the morning and the minutes between formal photographs to be in your gallery as much as the portraits are. We keep you with your guests, step in only when a little direction helps and let the photographs and film grow from what actually happens.
A word on the map. Elmbridge Farm is near Droitwich, Hogarths Stone Manor is in Stone near Kidderminster and Curradine Barns is in Shrawley, all in Worcestershire. Talton House and Walton Hall are in Warwickshire, Dumbleton Hall, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel and Birtsmorton Court are further out in Worcestershire and Davenport House and The Mill Barns are across the border in Shropshire, so they are labelled as neighbours. Our Birmingham guide covers the city and Sutton Coldfield, our Worcestershire guide covers the wider county and our Warwickshire guide covers Stratford and the country houses to the east.
01 / Near Droitwich, Worcestershire / Natalie & Tom
Elmbridge Farm: a lake, a flower arch and a tipi at dusk
Natalie and Tom married at Elmbridge Farm on 23 May 2025, a lakeside venue with open grounds a short drive south-west of Bromsgrove, and the photograph at the top of this guide is the two of them walking hand in hand beside the meadow. The day begins in the morning with Natalie in a white robe, toasting with five bridesmaids in berry-pink satin pyjamas. Later the two stand in front of a wooden arch of white flowers beside the lake and kiss beneath a shower of confetti, and the groomsmen walk towards us beside the same water in black dinner suits and bow ties, some in sunglasses.

The portraits keep moving: the two of them are reflected in the lake from a footbridge, and as the light drops they walk beneath a large oak along a path of festoon lights. On the lawn Tom kicks a leg up beside a laughing groomsman, and the evening is just as relaxed, with Natalie and Tom sharing a slice of their rose-covered four-tier cake inside a tipi with yellow canvas walls.
A lakeside venue like this works best when the plan lets you spend the golden hour outside with your guests, so ask when the sun sets on your date and where everyone can gather if it rains.

02 / Stone, near Kidderminster, Worcestershire / Liz & Jack
Hogarths Stone Manor: a little time in the gardens
Liz and Jack married at Hogarths Stone Manor on 2 August 2024. The venue describes 27 acres of grounds and landscaped gardens in the village of Stone, a short drive from Kidderminster, and their portraits use only a small part of it. Jack kisses Liz on the cheek beside a dark hedge with her bouquet of white and pale blue flowers between them, the two walk hand in hand across the lawn with Liz glancing back over her shoulder, and they lean together against an ivy-covered red-brick wall as her long veil spreads around her feet.

Another photograph lets the taller dry grasses soften the setting, with Jack standing behind Liz and her veil trailing in the stems. A country hotel can give you this change of scene while the main celebration stays close by. Think about what you would enjoy doing for those few minutes: a short walk and a chance to catch your breath can feel more natural than standing through a list of poses.
We choose the light and background, offer a little help and leave room for the expressions that are yours.

For current venue details, explore Hogarths Stone Manor.
03 / Shrawley, Worcestershire / Amy & Matthew
Curradine Barns: bulb lights, dried flowers and a red-lit dance floor
Amy and Matthew married at Curradine Barns in Shrawley on 21 April 2023. The venue describes a 19th-century red-brick barn with a Granary Barn and a Barley Barn, indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, sunlit courtyards, seated dining for up to 150 and farmhouse accommodation for up to 24 guests. A table setting dressed with dried flowers and glowing bulb lights shows how softly a barn can be lit for the meal, and later guests dance under a large iron chandelier in a barn washed with red light.

Shrawley is further west than the rest of this guide, but it sits within reach of the same search. If you are weighing barns, ask how the room changes from ceremony to meal to dancing, and what the lighting can do once it is dark.
For current venue details, explore Curradine Barns.
04 / Newbold on Stour, near Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire / Taylor & Brodie
Talton House: a stone manor, a weeping willow and a lift in the evening light
Talton House is at Newbold on Stour, near Stratford-upon-Avon, so it is a labelled Warwickshire neighbour to this guide. Taylor and Brodie married here on 13 August 2026. Their portraits begin on the stone steps in front of the gabled manor house, Taylor in a dark green suit and Brodie holding her bouquet, and move to the lawn, where the two kiss in front of the weeping willows as Brodie's veil settles around them.

Under the willow Taylor lifts Brodie off the ground, her veil swinging out in the low golden light, and later the two kiss in front of their guests seated on the lawn. If you are weighing a country house with a lawn, ask where ceremonies and drinks can sit, how the grounds look at the time of day your wedding falls and what the plan is if the weather turns.

For current venue details, explore Talton House.
05 / Wellesbourne, Warwickshire / Kate & Josh
Walton Hall: a Victorian Gothic house, a terrace walk and cheers through the double doors
Walton Hall is at Wellesbourne, a short drive from Warwick, so it is another labelled Warwickshire neighbour. Kate and Josh married here on 9 June 2023, and their story begins with a black and white photograph of Josh adjusting his tie beside a curtained window. They come through tall white double doors with their arms in the air, then embrace on the lawn in front of the Victorian Gothic stone house.

Later they walk hand in hand along a gravel terrace in the evening sun, and finish beneath an avenue of tall trees, laughing, with Kate holding a pastel bouquet. A grand house works for portraits because it gives you a backdrop without a long walk, so ask which parts of the grounds are open to you and where the evening light falls.

06 / Near Evesham, on the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire border / Lucy & Christian and Emma & Jason
Dumbleton Hall: confetti at a stone doorway, a vintage car and a chandelier first dance
Dumbleton Hall sits on the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire border near Evesham, a little further south than the rest of this guide. The venue is a 19th-century Tudor-style stone manor house framed by parkland and a lake, and our photographs from two weddings there begin with a bride laughing over a card in a bright room with tall windows, a groom in a cream suit reading his own and confetti thrown over a couple in front of a carved stone doorway.

A couple kiss beside a vintage car on the drive with the parkland behind them, a groom raises a hand to his face in black and white before the ceremony, and later a couple kiss on a wooden dance floor under a chandelier and tall illuminated letters. If a country house is on your shortlist, ask how the grand rooms and the grounds connect and what the plan is for the evening.

For current venue details, explore Dumbleton Hall.
07 / Callow End, near Worcester, Worcestershire / Abi & Adam
Stanbrook Abbey Hotel: a willow swing, a brick archway and a vaulted chapel
Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is at Callow End, near Worcester, a labelled neighbour on the far side of the county. Abi and Adam married here on 22 September 2022. Their portraits include the two sitting close together on a rope swing beneath a weeping willow and a kiss in a brick archway among red autumn foliage, with Abi's long veil falling behind her.

The ceremony took place in the vaulted chapel, with guests lining the aisle as the two walked away from the camera. A former abbey gives you an unusual ceremony room, so ask how the chapel, the gardens and the reception rooms work together, and what the plan is for dusk in September.

For current venue details, explore Stanbrook Abbey Hotel.
08 / Near Malvern, Worcestershire / Jade & Brad
Birtsmorton Court: pink bridesmaids, a rose arch and cheers down the grass aisle
Birtsmorton Court is near Malvern, in the south of Worcestershire, and is the furthest from Redditch in this guide. Jade and Brad married here on 6 June 2025. Their morning starts with five bridesmaids in pink striped robes laughing on the bed, then with the bridesmaids in bright pink dresses helping Jade into her ballgown beside a tall window, and Jade stands ready in front of the mirror with her bouquet. The wedding party lines up on the lawn, bridesmaids in bright pink beside groomsmen in black dinner suits.

In the gardens Brad and Jade stand in front of white roses on an arch, the two share a kiss beneath the rose arch and Brad walks beside her as she lifts her long veil on the gravel path. The two raise their arms and cheer as they walk back down the grass aisle past their guests. A garden ceremony asks for a plan B, so ask the venue where everyone moves if it rains.

For current venue details, explore Birtsmorton Court.
09 / Bridgnorth, Shropshire / Anna & Emilyn
Davenport House: a lace train on a four-poster, a doorway of streamers and a purple dance floor
Davenport House is at Bridgnorth, over the border in Shropshire, a labelled neighbour a little north of Kidderminster. Anna and Emilyn married here on 30 July 2026. A wedding dress with a long lace train hangs from a four-poster bed in a high-ceilinged bedroom, and the ceremony photograph is a kiss between guests seated either side beneath a chandelier. After the ceremony the two walk arm in arm across the gravel in front of the red-brick house.

Guests wave white streamers as the couple raise their arms in a doorway beside a laid table, and the evening ends on a crowded dance floor under purple lights. If you want a country house for a big party, ask how the rooms change between ceremony, meal and dancing and how late the music can run.

For current venue details, explore Davenport House.
10 / Alveley, near Bridgnorth, Shropshire / Sian & Tim
The Mill Barns: a willow, a window and an oak-framed barn
The Mill Barns is at Alveley, near Bridgnorth in Shropshire, and is a labelled neighbour a short drive from Kidderminster. Sian and Tim married here on 30 March 2025. Sian gets ready beside a tall window with a bridesmaid adjusting her dress, and the two walk hand in hand across the lawn beneath a willow tree.

The oak-framed barn is laid for the wedding meal with long tables beneath the beams. If you are choosing between barns, ask how the room looks with your guest numbers, where guests can wait between the ceremony and the meal and what the lawn offers for a short walk.

For current venue details, explore The Mill Barns.
Planning a wedding around Redditch, Bromsgrove and Alvechurch
Country houses, farms and barns
The venues here are a mix: a stone manor house with weeping willows, a farm with a lake and tipis and a red-brick barn with its own courtyards. Each asks which spaces your booking includes, how guests move between the ceremony, the meal and the grounds, and what the evening looks like once the light has gone. Ask each venue for the current layouts for your guest numbers.
Using a short walk well
Several of the portraits in this guide were taken within a few minutes of the reception: a lawn and a brick wall at Stone Manor, a swing and a brick archway at Stanbrook Abbey and a footbridge and meadow at Elmbridge. A short walk keeps you close to your guests and still gives you time to yourselves. Ask your venue where the best light is at the time you are likely to be outside.
Weather and season
A late-May wedding like Natalie and Tom's has a long, soft evening, and a summer wedding like Liz and Jack's leaves room for a walk after the meal. A lakeside tipi or a garden aisle is lovely in good weather, so agree a wet-weather plan you would still be happy to use.
Getting guests there
Redditch, Bromsgrove and Alvechurch are well placed for guests travelling from Birmingham, and the M42 and M5 both pass close by. Share a short transport note and accommodation suggestions early, and ask whether your venue has rooms on site, because some of the venues in this guide can put guests up.
How we travel to you
We are based near Cardiff and travel across England and Wales is included in standard full-day packages. If your wedding is a long drive from home, we stay in a hotel the night before so that traffic on the morning cannot affect your day.
Before you enquire: write down every address your day will use: where you get ready, the ceremony, the meal and where people sleep. Send the list with your date and venue and we can talk through the order of the day.
Beyond this corner of Worcestershire, the Birmingham guide covers the city and Sutton Coldfield, the Worcestershire guide the rest of the county and the Warwickshire guide the country houses to the east.
Hearing the day again: wedding films near Redditch
A photograph keeps a face. A film keeps the voice that went with it: a vow, the pause before a speech lands, the sound of a barn full of people when the dancing starts. A highlight follows your day in the order it happened, so watching it feels like the day again, not a trailer for it.
Our full-day video packages include a 7 to 10 minute highlight and a 40+ minute documentary film. Watch Liz and Jack's highlight from Hogarths Stone Manor, Amy and Matthew's highlight from Curradine Barns and Jade and Brad's highlight from Birtsmorton Court below. Booking photography and film with the same team means one conversation about the timetable, one set of questions for your venue and one plan for the portrait walk. Cam and Beth have photographed and filmed over 400 weddings together since 2016, so a hotel that turns from ceremony to dinner, a tipi by a lake or a late change to the order of the day is familiar territory.
The photo and video team package carries a £120 deposit and a £400 saving over booking photography and videography separately. If your day uses more than one location or has unusual timings, tell us the plan and we will confirm how it fits.

Is this a Birmingham guide or a Worcestershire guide?
It sits between the two. Redditch, Bromsgrove and Alvechurch are in north Worcestershire on the south side of Birmingham, and couples searching here often compare the hotels and barns on both sides of the county boundary. Our Birmingham guide covers the city and Sutton Coldfield, and our Worcestershire guide covers the wider county.
Can you photograph a country house, a lakeside tipi wedding and a barn?
Yes, and this guide has all three. A country house with lawns and willows, a lake with a tipi and an oak-framed barn each ask different questions: how a room turns from ceremony to meal, where guests shelter, how much natural light there is and what happens after dark. Send your venue details and we will plan the day around them.
Do you travel to Worcestershire for weddings?
Yes. Travel across England and Wales is included in our standard full-day packages, so a barn near Kidderminster and a country house in Warwickshire are priced in the same way. If your wedding is a long drive from home, we stay in a hotel the night before so the journey cannot affect your day.
How much does a Redditch or Bromsgrove wedding photographer and videographer cost?
Our standard full-day packages start at £2,099 for photography, £2,099 for videography and £3,799 for photography and videography together. Longer packages add more coverage and extras, and the package pages show the current inclusions.
Can we book photography and videography together?
Yes. Our photo and video team package puts both under one booking with a £120 deposit, and it carries a £400 saving compared with booking them separately. Full-day video packages include a 7 to 10 minute highlight and a 40+ minute documentary film. See the package pages for current coverage and prices.
