NORFOLK WEDDING GUIDE & REAL WEDDINGS
Wedding Photographer and Videographer Near Norfolk
A thatched barn and walled garden in North Norfolk, a 17th-century brick barn on the Norfolk and Suffolk border and a restored farm in the tall grass of Suffolk. Natural photographs and wedding films from the east of England, with every venue labelled by where it really is.

In short: Bright Sight is Cam and Beth, a photo and video duo based near Cardiff. This guide follows three real weddings in the east of England: Worstead Estate at Smallburgh in North Norfolk, Elms Barn at Toft Monks on the Norfolk and Suffolk border and, as a labelled Suffolk neighbour, Easton Grange near Woodbridge. Standard full-day packages start at £2,099 for photography, £2,099 for videography or £3,799 for both, with travel included and a £120 deposit to secure your date.
Weddings in Norfolk, from the north coast side to the Waveney
Norfolk is a county of big skies and long drives, and a couple searching for a Norfolk wedding photographer is often choosing between a historic estate in the north, a barn on the Suffolk line and the quiet of the countryside around Norwich. We have photographed and filmed in two of those three, and this guide shows both, with one carefully labelled neighbour just across the county line.
Brittany and George married at Worstead Estate, a thatched-barn and walled-garden venue at Smallburgh, in August 2026. Shantelle and Karl married at Elms Barn, a brick barn at Toft Monks on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, in July 2022. Sophie and Daniel married at Easton Grange near Woodbridge, in Suffolk, in July 2023, and are here as a neighbour, not a Norfolk wedding. Each story says where it is, so you can judge the distance from your own venue.
We work quietly around the day. You stay with your guests, we step in only when a little direction helps, and the photographs and film grow out of what really happens: a small dog on a lead between two newlyweds, confetti thrown under a clay-tiled roof, a kiss in front of pink roses.
01 / Smallburgh, near North Walsham, Norfolk / Brittany & George
Worstead Estate: floral arches in front of a chimney breast, confetti on the gravel and a small dog in the walled garden
Worstead Estate is at Smallburgh in North Norfolk, and describes a restored thatched barn and sawmill set in 300 acres of parkland, with ceremony spaces that include the Thatched Barn, Lake Island and the Walled Garden. Brittany and George married here on 22 August 2026, and the portrait at the top of this guide is the two of them at an arched iron window in an old brick wall, her veil and a bouquet of white roses beside his smile.

Their ceremony is in front of a brick chimney breast and sheer drapes between two white floral arches, and they sign the register at a wooden table, George kissing Brittany as the white roses sit in the foreground. Afterwards they walk hand in hand along the gravel between lines of guests throwing confetti.
In the walled garden the two stand between brick gate piers, George kissing Brittany’s cheek, and in their last photograph they hold a small curly-haired brown dog on a lead between them. A day with a pet in it is easy to plan if you tell the venue early and ask who will look after the dog during the ceremony.

02 / Toft Monks, near Beccles, on the Norfolk and Suffolk border / Shantelle & Karl
Elms Barn: fairy lights in a brick barn, a doorway in a garden wall and a kiss in front of pink roses
Elms Barn is at Toft Monks, near Beccles, and the venue describes a historic 17th-century barn on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, set in the gardens of a Queen Anne house. Shantelle and Karl married here on 9 July 2022, and the first photograph in this story is their ceremony kiss in black and white, beneath swags of fairy lights in the barn with guests in hats behind them.

The room for the wedding breakfast is laid with round tables, white linen and tall flowers beneath draped fabric and strings of lights, and outside the two walk hand in hand through confetti beside a white marquee while guests smile around them. In the garden Shantelle stands in a long lace gown beside Karl in a pointed doorway in a battlemented red-brick wall, and they walk beneath an arch of roses and greenery along a gravel path.
The day ends in the roses: the two kiss in front of pink flowers with the sun behind them and her veil lifting at the edge of the frame. If you are choosing a garden venue, ask which beds will be in flower on your date, and plan portraits for a time when the light is low and warm.

For current venue details, explore Elms Barn.
03 / Near Woodbridge, Suffolk / Sophie & Daniel
Easton Grange: a timber barn ceremony, a dog dressed for the day and tall pale grass
Easton Grange is near Woodbridge, in Suffolk, so it is a labelled neighbour in this guide, not a Norfolk wedding. The venue describes an exclusive-use restored former working farm, and Sophie and Daniel married here on 27 July 2023 with a ceremony in an oak-framed barn, where the two kiss beside a tall arrangement of white flowers and greenery with their guests seated behind them.

After the ceremony the two walk hand in hand through thrown petals beneath a clay-tiled barn roof, and Daniel holds their small black and white dog, dressed for the day, while Sophie holds a bouquet of blush roses on the lawn. Later the two walk along a mown path through long grass towards a timber-clad barn and kiss in tall pale grass with trees behind them.
Tall summer grass is lovely in a photograph and tiring in a long dress, so ask the venue which paths are mown and where the ground is dry. A short walk is plenty.

Planning a Norfolk wedding: barns, walled gardens and open country
Barns and thatched buildings
Both Norfolk venues in this guide are old working buildings turned into wedding spaces: a thatched barn and sawmill at Worstead and a 17th-century barn at Toft Monks. Ask which spaces are included in your booking, how the room changes between the ceremony and the meal and what the plan is for heating and light on a cold or dull day.
Walled gardens and rose gardens
A walled garden at Worstead and a rose garden beside a pointed brick doorway at Toft Monks gave their couples a quiet place to walk away from the party. Walk the garden at your viewing and ask when it will be in flower on your date, because planting changes the photographs more than people expect.
Weather and open skies
The landscape here is open, so a breezy day or a sudden shower is part of the picture. Agree an indoor alternative for the ceremony and drinks, and keep a small stock of umbrellas and shawls for guests, so a change of plan feels calm.
Getting there and staying
North Norfolk and the Waveney valley are some distance from the larger towns, so share directions and parking plans early and ask the venue about accommodation on site or nearby. Some estates offer exclusive use, which can make the day feel more private.
How we travel to you
Norfolk is more than two hours from our base near Cardiff, so we always stay in a hotel the night before and cover it. That means traffic on the morning cannot affect your day, and travel across England and Wales is included in our standard full-day packages.
Before you enquire: write down every address your day will use, from where you get ready to where guests sleep, and any ceremony spaces you are still choosing between. Send it with your date and venue and we can talk through the order of the day.
Our Suffolk and Cambridge guides cover the neighbouring counties, and our Essex guide shows more weddings in the east of England.
Hearing the day again: wedding films in Norfolk
A photograph keeps a face. A film keeps the voice that goes with it: the vows in a barn, the laugh at a speech, the sound of guests as confetti flies. We film the way we photograph, from the edge of your day and without asking you to repeat anything for the camera.
A highlight follows your day in the order it happened, so watching it feels like the day again rather than a trailer for it.
Our full-day video packages include a 7 to 10 minute highlight and a 40+ minute documentary film. Explore the wedding videography package for current inclusions, or browse our wedding films for more celebrations.
One team for the photographs and the film across Norfolk

Booking photography and film with the same team means one conversation about the timetable, one set of questions for your venue and one plan for the couple portraits. Cam and Beth have photographed and filmed over 400 weddings together since 2016, so a barn that turns from ceremony to dinner and a garden at golden hour are familiar ground.
The photo and video team package carries a £120 deposit and a £400 saving over booking photography and videography separately. We are based near Cardiff, and travel across England and Wales is included in standard full-day packages, so a barn in North Norfolk and one on the Suffolk border are priced the same way. If your day uses more than one location or has an unusual timetable, tell us the plan and we will confirm how it fits.
Questions about photography and film in Norfolk
Do you photograph and film weddings in Norfolk?
Yes. Cam and Beth are based near Cardiff and travel across England and Wales is included in standard full-day packages. We have photographed and filmed weddings at Worstead Estate in North Norfolk and Elms Barn on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. Send your date and venue and we will tell you whether we are free.
Which real weddings can we see in this guide?
Brittany and George at Worstead Estate in Smallburgh, Norfolk, in August 2026 and Shantelle and Karl at Elms Barn in Toft Monks on the Norfolk and Suffolk border in July 2022 are the Norfolk weddings. Sophie and Daniel at Easton Grange near Woodbridge in Suffolk in July 2023 is a labelled neighbour.
Why is a Suffolk wedding in a Norfolk guide?
Couples searching for a Norfolk photographer often look across the county line, and Elms Barn itself is on the border. Easton Grange is in Suffolk and is labelled that way. Our Suffolk guide shows more weddings there.
Do you travel to Norfolk for weddings?
Yes. Travel across England and Wales is included in our standard full-day packages. Norfolk is more than two hours from home, so we always stay in a hotel the night before and cover it.
Can you photograph a barn and a walled garden in the same wedding?
Yes, and this guide has both. Tell us which spaces your venue gives you and how long guests will be elsewhere, and we will plan the couple portraits around it.
What if it is windy or wet?
Agree an indoor alternative with your venue before the day and build a little slack into the timings. Open country can be breezy, and we plan the photographs and film around whatever the day gives us.
How much does a Norfolk wedding photographer and videographer cost?
Our standard full-day packages start at £2,099 for photography, £2,099 for videography and £3,799 for photography and videography together. Larger packages extend the coverage and add extras, and the package pages show what is included today.
Can we book photography and videography as one team?
Yes. Our photo and video team package puts both under one booking with a £120 deposit, and it carries a £400 saving compared with booking them separately. Check the package page for current prices and coverage.
