Xenia and Jack designed their celebration around long, joyful garden moments. After their ceremony, guests poured out onto the sweeping lawns for wood-fired canapés and cocktails as afternoon sunlight poured through the heritage tree canopy. Because the estate grounds flow seamlessly together, couple portraits felt like nothing more than a quiet, private stroll through the wildflower meadows.

As twilight settled over the Herefordshire countryside, the celebration migrated inside the Wainhouse for heartfelt, hilarious speeches and an electric party floor. With discrete wireless microphones capturing every crack in the groom’s voice, their documentary films preserve the authentic energy of the room for decades to come.

Eastnor Castle, Ledbury

Few settings in Britain command the majestic presence of Eastnor Castle. Standing at the foot of the Malvern Hills near Ledbury, surrounded by a deer park, arboretum and lake, this Grade I listed castle offers a Great Hall, a Gothic drawing room decorated by Pugin and a suite of state rooms that create a timeless cinematic backdrop.

Kristina and James celebrated their marriage with a sophisticated summer gathering that embraced both the grandeur of the castle interiors and the relaxed outdoor terraces. The castle's tall rooms gave soft, natural directional light that brought out the fine textures of the bride’s gown.

Rather than treating the castle like a rigid museum, Kristina and James kept their timeline fluid and joyous. During the evening transition, while guests sipped cocktails on the lawn, we stepped outside for a 15-minute walk, capturing the warm glow of the setting sun bouncing off the castle stone.

Wilde Lodge, Welsh Marches Border

Perched on the River Teme near Knighton in Powys, with views across Shropshire, Herefordshire and Wales, Wilde Lodge is an enchanting countryside haven for free-spirited couples. With its open barn, fire pits outside the barns and access to the riverside, it creates an unforgettable weekend wedding retreat.

Chantelle and Steven's day made the most of the setting, with an aisle beneath fairy lights in the barn. The riverside meadows are close by for guests to wander, and there are fire pits outside the barns for the evening, which gives the day a relaxed, festival feel.

Birtsmorton Court, Near Malvern, Worcestershire

Set in Worcestershire near Malvern, with views of the Malvern Hills, Birtsmorton Court is a remarkable Grade I listed moated medieval manor. Its Great Hall, Italian-inspired formal gardens, and serene waters create a fairy-tale atmosphere.
