When Vanessa and Harvey planned their celebration here, their priority was creating a day that felt warm, relaxed, and shared fully with their closest family and friends. From the morning preparations through to the ceremony, the barn provided a calm, light-filled sanctuary where everyone could simply enjoy each other's company without any forced formality.

The Ceremony & Afternoon Celebrations

Ceremonies inside Bowerchalke Barn are naturally intimate. As Vanessa walked down the aisle beneath the soaring timber ceiling, gentle daylight poured through the open double doors, softly lighting the emotional vow exchanges. Because we work as an experienced photo & video duo, we move around each other silently, capturing both wide cinematic shots of the entire room and close-up emotional tears without clicking, intrusive lights, or distraction.

Our 15 to 20 Minute Couple Stroll: No Posing, Just Real Moments

Like the vast majority of our couples, Vanessa and Harvey were initially nervous about having couple portraits taken. They did not want to be directed into stiff fashion poses or dragged away from their guests for an hour while their party went on without them.

Our process is designed specifically to remove that anxiety. For portraits, a relaxed 15 to 20 minute walk is usually enough. These photographs show Vanessa and Harvey beneath a garden pergola and laughing together on a tree-lined path. We keep the route manageable and give you room to enjoy a few minutes together before returning to your guests.

Confetti and Time With Your Guests

Vanessa and Harvey walk through confetti with their guests cheering around them. We agree the practical arrangements with your venue, then let you enjoy coming out together. Afterwards, a short list of family photographs helps leave more of the reception for conversation and celebration.
