REGIONAL WEDDING GUIDE & VENUE SPOTLIGHT
Wedding Photographer and Videographer Near Shropshire
Relaxed, story-led photography and cinematic wedding films across Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Whitchurch, and the picturesque Shropshire countryside.

A Shropshire timeline that includes the real journey
Does your day move between a church and a reception venue?
Allow for leaving the ceremony, greeting guests, parking and settling in at the next location. Those transitions take time as well as the drive. Send us both addresses and the ceremony arrangements so we can build a plan around the day you actually want.
How many locations do you need for portraits?
A few nearby spots are usually enough. Davenport House and The Mill Barns offer different settings, as the photographs below show. Choose a short route you can enjoy in your wedding clothes and keep an indoor option available rather than relying on a distant viewpoint.
Make the timings your own with our photography timeline guide and photo and video checklist.

Shropshire Wedding Venues That Feel Like Home to Us
Over the years, we've had the pleasure of filming and photographing weddings across Shropshire and its neighbouring borders. Every venue has its own distinct personality, light, and architectural character. Here are the standout Shropshire venues we've captured:

Davenport House, Bridgnorth
Set amidst the rolling Shropshire countryside near Bridgnorth, Davenport House is a Grade I listed Georgian estate offering exclusive elegance. From its breathtaking Great Hall with grand twin staircases to the light-filled Saloon and secret walled cottage garden, the venue combines historic gravitas with a welcoming, intimate atmosphere. The expansive estate provides endless backdrop options for natural, romantic sunset couple portraits.

The Mill Barns, Bridgnorth
Located in Alveley near Bridgnorth, The Mill Barns is a purpose-built luxury waterfront wedding barn venue set across eight acres of landscaped gardens and tranquil mill ponds. Its striking oak-framed barns, vaulted ceilings, and glass walls overlooking the water create an extraordinary setting for both photography and cinematic films, with natural daylight pouring into every ceremony and wedding breakfast.

Combermere Abbey, Whitchurch
Nestled on the border of North Shropshire and Cheshire near Whitchurch, Combermere Abbey is a breathtaking 1,000-year-old estate surrounded by ancient parkland, a glittering mere, and the world's only circular fruit tree maze. Its light-drenched Victorian Glasshouse and private Pavilion offer an idyllic setting for romantic, relaxed celebrations with unmatched heritage charm.

Wilde Lodge, Ludlow & Welsh Border
Perched on the border near Ludlow overlooking the River Teme and rolling hills, Wilde Lodge is an extraordinary countryside venue for couples who want total creative freedom and a relaxed festival spirit. With its open-sided safari tent, converted long barn, and direct access to wild river meadows, it creates an unforgettable atmosphere where guests can unwind around fire pits under open starry skies.

Tern Hill Hall, Market Drayton
Set within six acres of mature landscaped grounds in Market Drayton, Tern Hill Hall is a warm, family-run country house offering modern comfort with classic hospitality. Its bright Orangery and manicured lawns create a peaceful, unhurried backdrop for joyful celebrations.

Cabin Lane Church, Oswestry
A lovely community ceremony setting in the market town of Oswestry, providing a warm and personal atmosphere for couples celebrating with close friends and family.

Why Couples Book a Wedding Photographer and Videographer Team Together

As a dedicated photo and video team, we plan the ceremony, sound recording and portraits together. You have one point of contact before the wedding, and one shared plan for the moments you want to remember.
Beyond the calm atmosphere on the day, our combined Photo & Video Team package ensures a matching, unified colour grade across your entire gallery and wedding film. You also enjoy streamlined planning, a single £120 deposit, and an instant £300 package saving compared to booking photo and video separately.
A Wedding Videographer Near Shropshire, Not Just an Add-On
Wedding videography captures what still photos cannot: the sound of your partner's voice during their vows, the hilarious reactions during the speeches, and the incredible atmosphere as the evening party kicks off.
We treat wedding film with the exact same artistry and care as photography. Alongside your 7–10 minute cinematic highlight film, we deliver full documentary films of your complete ceremony and speeches as standard. Every moment is recorded to dual memory card slots simultaneously and safely duplicate-backed overnight, giving you total peace of mind.

Have Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you photograph and film weddings around Shropshire?
Yes. Cam and Beth cover weddings across England and Wales, including Shropshire. This guide gives the locations of the featured venues, including any options in neighbouring counties. Send your date, venue and plans so we can confirm availability and suitable coverage.
What happens if it rains at our wedding in Shropshire?
We discuss an indoor alternative with you and your venue, keep the essential family-photo list manageable and use a short break in the weather if one arrives. Share accessibility needs and ceremony arrangements in advance. There is no need to spend the reception waiting outdoors for a particular photograph.
We feel awkward in photographs. How much posing is involved?
You do not need to know how to pose. We give gentle direction when it helps, usually during a relaxed 15–20 minute portrait walk, and document the rest of the day as it unfolds. Tell us about any worries and the moments that matter most so we can make the experience comfortable for you.
What does your standard photo and video team package include?
Our standard combined package includes 10.5 continuous hours of coverage with a photographer and videographer, 600–800+ edited photographs, 15 sneak peeks, a 7–10 minute highlight film and a documentary edit, typically 40+ minutes. The package page sets out current delivery details and extras. Drone footage depends on safe flying conditions, permissions and the location.
