Standard full-day packages start at £2,099 for photography, £2,099 for videography or £3,799 for both, with travel included and a £120 deposit to secure your date.
A manor with a Great Hall and formal gardens near Grantham
Harlaxton Manor is at Harlaxton near Grantham in Lincolnshire (NG32 1AG). The venue says it was built in 1831 and describes a mile-long drive with an ornate bridge, gardens with French terraces, an Italian garden and a Dutch canal, and a 19th-century conservatory with orange trees and tropical plants.
We filmed Loretta and Nick's wedding here on 20 June 2026, so this page is different from our photograph-led venue pages: every picture on it is a still taken from their wedding film, and the highlight film plays at the top of the page. Our Nottingham guide and Leicester guide show more weddings in the East Midlands, and here we stay with the manor and the couple. What we say about the rooms and gardens comes from the venue's own website, and what we say about the pictures comes from looking at them.
For current venue details, explore Harlaxton Manor. This wedding was in midsummer, so ask the venue how the manor and gardens change in other seasons.
01 / The spaces / From the venue's own description
A Great Hall, five more state rooms and the gardens
The venue's wedding page says the Great Hall hosts civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests and evening receptions for up to 350. It describes oak panelling, a crystal chandelier and Italian marble flooring, a Minstrel Gallery overlooking the hall and a secret passageway to the State Dining Room bar area.
It also lists the Long Gallery, the Gold Room, the State Dining Room, the Conservatory and the Formal Gardens as celebration spaces, and says you and your guests have the state rooms to yourselves. The packages page gives 80 to 350 guests for the Full Manor Experience, which can include exclusive use of all the state rooms, and 10 to 80 guests for intimate weddings, which choose from a variety of the state rooms. It gives no wedding breakfast capacity and no timings, so ask for both in writing.

02 / June 2026 / Loretta and Nick
Loretta and Nick: a chandelier hall, a garden of stone steps and a dance floor of sparklers
Loretta and Nick married on 20 June 2026. The film at the top of this page opens on a still from their portraits: Nick in a black tuxedo and bow tie and Loretta in a strapless gown with pearls in her hair, forehead to forehead among the trees with the stone manor behind them.
The ceremony was in a high oak-panelled hall with a crystal chandelier and a black and white marble floor. From above, Loretta walks up the aisle on the arm of a man in a dark suit, with bridesmaids in champagne dresses and groomsmen in black tie waiting at the front. In the next picture the two of them stand hand in hand in front of tall white flower arrangements while the guests clap.

They kiss while their guests look on, one man in black tie smiling with a bouquet on his lap. Outside, at the stone doorway of the manor, guests throw confetti as Nick dips Loretta and they both laugh.

The portraits go through the gardens. They kiss at the edge of a terrace above open countryside, and walk hand in hand down a flight of worn stone steps among roses, smiling at each other.

Later they hold each other in the doorway of a round stone building in the gardens, with the manor beside them and fields beyond. Then they walk arm in arm across the gravel towards the arched doorway of the house, between clipped hedges and purple flowers, with guests chatting on the lawn to one side.

Back inside, they arrive in a gold-panelled room with a pink marble fireplace, arms in the air and the bouquet raised, while friends wave white napkins around them.

The first dance is in a panelled hall with a live band at the back, Loretta and Nick laughing as they hold hands. Later she leans back with her arms out as Nick lifts her between two columns of sparklers.

Streamers end up wrapped around both of them on the dance floor. The film closes outdoors, with the two of them arm in arm in silhouette, watching fireworks against an evening sky.

03 / Staying at Harlaxton / From the venue's own description
Overnight stays and the morning of the wedding
The venue pages we read do not mention bedrooms or overnight stays. Ask whether you and your guests can stay at the manor, how many people it can sleep and what the arrangements are for the morning after.
For the film and photographs, ask where each of you can get ready and when those rooms open, so we can plan the morning around where each of you is.

Loretta and Nick at Harlaxton Manor: their June 2026 highlight
Loretta and Nick’s highlight film retells their June 2026 wedding at Harlaxton Manor, from the first moments of the day to the evening, around the pictures above. Watch it to see and hear the Great Hall and the gardens in motion, then ask the venue which of its rooms suit your numbers.

Planning your film and photographs at Harlaxton
A few things worth asking the venue, and how we would plan around the answers:
- Ceremony place: The venue says its Great Hall hosts civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests, and the film does not name the room Loretta and Nick used. Ask which other rooms can be used for a ceremony and which suits your numbers.
- Timing: The venue's wedding pages do not give finishing times, so ask for the timings of your date in writing. Tell us once you have agreed them and we will plan the portrait walk and the evening around the light.
- Garden portraits: The terraces, the stone steps and the gravel paths gave this couple their portraits. Ask which parts of the gardens are open to you and whether any are closed to guests.
- Sparklers and fireworks: The film shows sparklers on the dance floor and fireworks outdoors. Ask the venue what it allows indoors and outdoors on your date, and what it needs from you to agree it.
- Rain: Agree an indoor or sheltered option with the venue when you confirm the order of the day, and we settle it together on the day.
- Group photographs: We do as many as you like and typically recommend around 15, which usually take about 20 minutes. Ask a groomsman or bridesmaid who knows everyone to round people up.
- Getting ready: If you and your partner are in different places, we move between you together, splitting our time as a team. Groom preparation typically takes about 15 minutes.
One team for the photographs and the film

Cam and Beth have photographed and filmed over 400 weddings together, so a manor with a great hall, terraced gardens and a dance floor is familiar territory. You get one conversation about the timetable, one set of questions for the venue and one plan for the portrait walk.
The photo and video team package carries a £120 deposit and a £400 saving over booking photography and videography separately. We are based near Cardiff, and travel across England and Wales is included in standard full-day packages. When the drive is over two hours we always stay in a hotel the night before and cover it.
