A mansion house at the end of a tree-lined avenue
Hoyle Court is on Otley Road in Baildon, West Yorkshire (BD17 6JS). The venue describes an Edwardian-style Baroque mansion house, set in a secluded wooded spot at the end of a tree-lined avenue, and says couples have exclusive use of the entire space. Its wedding page mentions a terrace with a stone staircase, sweeping gardens and a secret garden area for photographs and lawn games.
We photographed Nicole and Bradley's wedding here on 2 July 2021, and their day is the one in this guide: a kiss beneath a stone arch, rings exchanged in a curtained room, confetti on a garden path and portraits at the front of the house. Our Leeds guide shows more weddings across West Yorkshire, and here we stay with the house. What we say about the rooms and grounds comes from the venue's own website, and what we say about the photographs comes from looking at them.
For current venue details, explore Hoyle Court. This wedding was in early July, so ask the venue how the house and gardens look in other seasons, and check its current packages.

A long garden room, a ballroom and a terraced garden
The venue's wedding page says civil and wedding ceremonies take place in the long garden room, which flows into the bar and reception area, for up to 100 guests. It gives the main ballroom as holding up to 120 for the wedding breakfast, with circular tables and white linen, and describes the day as sole use for the wedding party and invited guests.
Outside, it lists a terrace for photographs, drinks receptions and evening barbecues on request when booking. Its package pages mention a dedicated wedding coordinator, a three-course wedding breakfast and an evening supper menu, with a minimum of 40 guests. They do not give evening numbers, finishing times, parking or overnight rooms, so ask for each in writing.
02 / July 2021 / Nicole and Bradley
Nicole and Bradley: a kiss under a stone arch, rings exchanged and confetti on a garden path
Nicole and Bradley married on 2 July 2021. The photograph at the top of this page shows them kissing in front of a pale wooden door in an arched stone wall hung with leaves, Bradley in a grey check three-piece suit with a white flower pinned to his jacket and Nicole in a strapless lace gown with a veil and a bouquet of white flowers.
Their ceremony was indoors, in a room with patterned curtains, a chandelier and a red carpet. Nicole laughs as the two of them exchange rings, with guests looking on behind them, a few in face masks as many still were in July 2021. Later they walk along the aisle hand in hand, smiling at each other, Nicole's long lace-edged veil spread across the carpet beside them.

Outside, guests stood either side of a paved garden path and threw confetti as the couple walked through, Nicole holding her bouquet and Bradley beaming, a girl on the right reaching out to throw. Then the two of them stood in the doorway of the stone house, under a carved porch with hanging baskets of flowers either side, and kissed beside a small hand-lettered sign propped against a planter.

From a low angle on a flight of worn stone steps, the photograph shows them from behind, kissing with the tall stone house rising above them and ivy and clipped shrubs on either side.

In a closer portrait against a dark doorway, Bradley touches Nicole's chin as they smile with their noses almost touching, her hair in a plait with the veil behind. The last photograph is a walk along a gravel drive beside a stone wall under overhanging trees, Nicole lifting her skirt and glancing at Bradley as he smiles down.

Planning your photographs at Hoyle Court
Questions to put to the venue, and how we would plan around the answers:
- Ceremony room: Nicole and Bradley's ceremony was in a room with tall curtains and a carpeted aisle. The venue names its long garden room for ceremonies, so ask which room your date uses and how the chairs will be set.
- Confetti: The garden path gave the confetti a long, leafy background. Ask the venue what it allows and who clears up, so you know what to buy and when to throw it.
- The front of the house: The stone porch and the front steps make a formal backdrop. Ask when the entrance will be clear on the day, and we will fit those portraits into a quiet gap.
- Terrace and gardens: The venue mentions a terrace with a stone staircase and a secret garden area. If you visit, ask to walk the grounds with the coordinator, so we can choose spots before the day.
- Group photographs: We make as many as you wish, usually around 15, which take about 20 minutes. Pick a spot with room for everyone and a sheltered fallback, and ask someone who knows both families to gather people.
- Portraits: Our portrait walk usually lasts about 15 minutes, with photo and video together. The arch, the porch and the drive under the trees each give a different setting within a short walk.
One team for the photographs and the film

Cam and Beth have photographed and filmed over 400 weddings together, so a mansion with a long garden room, a stone porch and a terraced garden is planned once: one timetable, one list of questions for the venue and one shared portrait walk for photographs and film.
The photo and video team package carries a £120 deposit and a £400 saving over booking photography and videography separately. We are based near Cardiff, and travel across England and Wales is included in standard full-day packages. When the drive is over two hours we always stay in a hotel the night before and cover it.
