The Barn at Berkeley Wedding Photographer & Videographer
A Cotswold stone barn on a working farm at Berkeley in Gloucestershire, seen through a July 2021 wedding: a ceremony under chandeliers, confetti on the lawn, portraits in a rose-covered gazebo and an evening dance in front of light-up letters.

In short: Bright Sight is Cam and Beth, a photo and video duo based near Cardiff. This page is about weddings at The Barn at Berkeley in Gloucestershire, where we photographed a wedding in July 2021. Standard full-day packages start at £2,099 for photography, £2,099 for videography or £3,799 for both, with travel included and a £120 deposit to secure your date.
A Cotswold stone barn on Berkeley Heath Farm
The Barn at Berkeley is at Berkeley Heath Farm in Berkeley, Gloucestershire (GL13 9EW). Its own website describes a Cotswold stone barn with exposed beams, offered for exclusive use, and it is still taking wedding bookings: the venue says it books up to two years ahead and publishes a late availability page for 2027 dates.
We photographed Jordan and Holly's wedding here on 10 July 2021, and their day is the one in this guide: a ceremony in a room of vaulted timbers and chandeliers, confetti on the lawn, portraits among roses and an evening dance in front of light-up letters. Our Gloucestershire guide shows more weddings in the county and our Cheltenham guide covers the other side of it; here we stay with the barn. What we say about the spaces comes from the venue's own website, and what we say about the photographs comes from looking at them.
For current venue details, explore The Barn at Berkeley. Jordan and Holly married in July, so ask the venue how the barn, garden and courtyard look and work in other seasons, and which parts of the site your own numbers need.
01 / The spaces / From the venue's own description
Six spaces, from the Hen House to the Courtyard
The venue lists six spaces on its Our Venue page. The Hen House is described as a dressing room for one half of the couple. The Loft is described as designed with ceremonies in mind, with vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and plenty of natural light. The Garden is surrounded by Cotswold stone and suggested for the drinks reception and photographs, and the venue says a ceremony can also be held there at its Pergola, in the walled garden, with extra seating and live music needed.
The Parlour has sofas and a bar for the drinks reception, and The Barn has an open fireplace, a flagstone floor and Cotswold stone walls, with a dance floor, a stage for a band and a licensed bar after dark. The Courtyard is lit by festoon lighting. The venue says there is no accommodation on site, and names a partner B&B about 7 miles away, The Lazy Goose, with six guest rooms; its Guest Information page lists other places to stay. The venue also asks for a minimum number of adult guests at the reception, so ask what it is for your date and whether smaller weddings are possible in winter.
02 / July 2021 / Jordan and Holly
Jordan and Holly: a vaulted ceremony room, confetti under a willow and an evening in front of LOVE
Jordan and Holly married on 10 July 2021. The photograph at the top of this page is the two of them walking out hand in hand, Holly in a lace gown and veil with her bouquet of blush roses raised high and Jordan in a blue check suit with a pink tie, both of them grinning, with stone farm buildings behind.
Before that, the ceremony room is ready. Guests sit on white chairs with ribbon bows either side of an aisle scattered with petals, under a vaulted timber ceiling with chandeliers and string lights, and two white blossom trees stand at the far end. The room has the vaulted ceiling and chandeliers that the venue describes for its Loft, though we have not asked the venue to confirm which room the day used.

At the front, Holly and Jordan stand facing the room as their guests applaud, a flower girl in a pink tulle dress and a boy in a pale suit beside the family. Then the two of them sit at a table dressed with pink and white roses, and Jordan kisses Holly beside a tall mirror and white drapes.

They walk back down the aisle hand in hand, smiling, while a guest at the edge of the frame keeps applauding.

Outside, guests gather under a weeping willow for confetti. Holly laughs with her eyes closed as it falls, Jordan beside her with the flower girl in his arms and the boy in braces and a bow tie holding his hand.

Their portraits are quiet by comparison. In the first they kiss inside a wooden gazebo wrapped in climbing white roses, petals scattered on the lawn beyond. In the next they stand on the grass beneath a large tree, Holly holding her bouquet high above them as they kiss.

In the evening Holly and Jordan hold hands and dance on a wooden stage in front of a stone wall, with light-up LOVE letters beside them and white blossom branches hanging above.

Planning your photographs at The Barn at Berkeley
Some questions for the venue, and how we would plan around the answers:
- The ceremony room: Ask which room your ceremony would be in, what it costs and how many guests it seats. Jordan and Holly's room had a vaulted ceiling and chandeliers, so we would look at the light from its windows before we plan where you stand.
- Confetti: The venue says confetti must be real-flower or biodegradable and thrown on the garden grass. Buy it early, and give two or three guests cones to hand round so everyone is ready when you come out.
- Daylight: The venue says the Garden and Parlour are available until 7.30pm and the Courtyard until midnight. In high summer there is daylight after 7.30pm, so ask what is open for portraits then, and we will agree a plan with you.
- Group photographs: We usually suggest around 15 groups, which take about 20 minutes. The walled garden is a likely spot, so ask for a sheltered fallback and give a friend who knows both families the list.
- Portraits: We take a portrait walk of about 15 minutes with photo and video working together. Jordan and Holly's portraits include a gazebo among roses and a lawn with a mature tree, so ask which parts of the grounds are open to you.
- Getting home: The venue says it is rural, with no Uber, and that hire runs to midnight, so guests need taxis booked well ahead. We build the evening photographs, including the Courtyard lights, around that finish time.
One team for the photographs and the film

Cam and Beth have photographed and filmed over 400 weddings as a pair, so a stone barn, a walled garden and a long summer evening are familiar ground. You deal with one team, send one timeline and get one plan for the day.
The photo and video team package carries a £120 deposit and a £400 saving over booking photography and videography separately. We are based near Cardiff, and travel across England and Wales is included in standard full-day packages. When the drive is over two hours we always stay in a hotel the night before and cover it.
