A private farm with lakes, woodland and tipis near Droitwich

Elmbridge Farm is on Addis Lane at Cutnall Green, near Droitwich in Worcestershire (WR9 0ND). Its own website calls it a 60-acre private farm, with lakes, woodland and countryside around its event space, and says it has hosted over 150 weddings. It is known for its tipi hats beside a lake, and the venue also lists lodges and glamping on site.

We photographed and filmed Natalie and Tom's wedding here on 23 May 2025. This page has three photographs from their day: a walk beside the lawn, a confetti kiss and a crossing of a walkway over the lake.

Natalie and Tom: confetti, a lawn and a lake

Natalie and Tom married on 23 May 2025, and we photographed and filmed their day. Natalie wears a white lace gown and carries a bouquet of white flowers, and Tom is in a black tuxedo with a bow tie. In the photograph at the top of this page they walk hand in hand along a paved path beside a lawn and tall grasses, smiling at each other.

Guests line a gravel path on both sides for the confetti, and Natalie, in a long veil, leans back into a kiss while the petals fly. Later the two of them cross a wooden walkway with rope rails over the lake, and the still water gives them a reflection.

02 / The setting / From the venue's own pages

Lakeside, woodland and tipi ceremonies, and four giant tipi hats

The venue's ceremonies page names a lakeside setting, a more intimate woodland clearing and the tipis, which couples can use indoors in cooler months or if it rains. It says the venue has a marriage licence, so a registrar-led civil ceremony can take place on site, and that many couples choose a celebrant-led ceremony instead. It also says several nearby churches welcome couples from inside and outside their parish. Its setting page describes the lakeside ceremony area as facing an extended footbridge that leads to the tipis, with a ceremony bridge guiding you and your guests to and from it.

The tipis page lists four giant tipi hats: two dining hats, a bar hat and a dance hat, with a terrace beside them. The two dining hats seat up to 150 guests, and the venue says oak tables and chairs are provided for 40 to 150 guests. The tipis are made by Tentipi and, the venue says, designed to adapt to any weather, with a heater and fuel included. The dance hat has rustic wood-panelled walls, festive lighting and a directional sound system, and the terrace has panoramic lake views, hay bales and a fire pit. The pages do not give ceremony or evening numbers, so ask the venue for them in writing.

03 / The grounds / From the venue's own pages

An island, an ancient oak and footpaths around the lake

The setting page names the places the venue offers for portraits: an island on the lake for a private moment with panoramic views, an ancient oak draped in fairy lights, and the woods. Its prices page adds landscaped footpaths and wooden bridges across the lake, a grass terrace with lake views and a fairy-light footpath past the oak, which it describes as 500 years old.

In Natalie and Tom's photographs there is a paved path beside a lawn and tall grasses, a gravel path where guests throw confetti, and a wooden walkway with rope rails over still water. We cannot tell from the pictures which of the venue's bridges or paths each one is, so ask the venue to show you the routes on a showaround.

04 / Staying at Elmbridge Farm / From the venue's own pages

Lodges, safari tents and bell tents on site

The wedding stays page lists four barn-converted, self-catered lodges just steps from the tipi that can host up to 20 guests in total, including a penthouse wedding suite with an open-plan living space for morning preparations and a balcony over the lakes. There are also two lakeside safari tents, each sleeping up to 4 with a super king bed and a sofa bed, and five bell tents in the woodland that sleep up to 30, each made up for 2, 4 or 6. Shower and toilet blocks serve the tents. The page gives no check-in or check-out times, so ask which stays come with your booking and when you can have them on the morning of the wedding.

For photographs, the penthouse suite's balcony is the venue's own suggestion for first-look photographs. The Chequers at Cutnall Green, an easy walk away, is the venue's suggestion for a pre-wedding supper.

05 / The day / From the venue's own pages

Suppliers, drinks and finding the farm

The venue says you bring your own caterers, that bands and DJs are allowed, that there is no corkage on your own reception, table and evening drinks, and that its in-house team runs a cash and card bar. A venue manager is present on the day, and the hire includes access the day before and after to decorate and pack up the tipis. The pages give no finish time for the evening, so ask.

The contact page says searching for Elmbridge Farm or Elmbridge Fishery on Google Maps brings you to the right place, and that other apps are less accurate. From the A442 you turn onto Addis Lane, then take the left fork signposted to Elmbridge Farm and the long drive downhill, keeping left at the bottom, to reach the gravel parking area. The hire includes an overnight car park.

Planning your photographs at Elmbridge Farm

How the venue's own layout shapes the photographs, and what to settle with the venue:

  1. Where the ceremony is: Lakeside, in the woodland clearing, in the tipis or at a nearby church. The lakeside area is reached over a footbridge, so tell us the place and the time so we can plan the morning, the travel and the first photographs around it.
  2. Group photographs: We do as many as you like and typically recommend around 15, which usually take about 20 minutes. The venue describes a grass terrace with lake views beside the tipis, so ask which spot suits a large group, and ask someone who knows everyone to round people up.
  3. Portraits: We usually take a portrait walk of about 15 minutes, with photo and video together. The venue names an island on the lake, an ancient oak lit with fairy lights, wooden bridges and the woods, and a lawn, a path, a lake walkway and gravel for the confetti all appear in Natalie and Tom's photographs.
  4. Rain: The venue says ceremonies can move into the tipis if it rains. Agree the plan with the venue when you confirm the order of the day, and ask where portraits could happen instead.
  5. Getting ready: The penthouse suite has an open-plan living space and a balcony over the lakes, and the lodges are just steps from the tipi. Tell us which lodge you will use so we can arrange the morning.
  6. Getting there: The venue gives its address as Bryans Green, Addis Lane, Cutnall Green, WR9 0ND, and warns that Google Maps works best for the farm. Ask for parking and supplier timings when you enquire.
