Your wedding photo and video planning checklist
You do not need a perfect schedule or a list of poses. Clear timings, the people who matter and a few practical details help us prepare for your wedding while you enjoy the day.

Before you book
Watch complete examples of the work, compare the actual coverage hours and decide whether you want photography, film or both. Read the package inclusions alongside the starting price. Ask about the date, travel, delivery and anything important to your venue or ceremony.
Use the package calculator if you need different coverage or specific extras. You can save or share its summary with your partner. It is an estimate to discuss, not a reserved wedding date; we confirm availability and final details before booking.
Bring these details to the planning call
Have the preparation addresses, ceremony time, reception address and a draft schedule ready. Include travel between places, access or parking instructions and a useful contact at the venue. Let us know if either of you is getting ready somewhere different from the main plan.
Tell us about anything happening at the same time in different locations. We can discuss the practical options and whether another photographer or videographer would help. There is no need to add one automatically if the core team can cover your priorities.
People, sensitivities and accessibility
Make a short list of essential group photographs and choose a helper who knows the guests. Tell us about close relatives who need an earlier photograph, mobility or sensory needs, family circumstances and anyone you would prefer not to group together.
You can also tell us how you feel about being photographed. If being the centre of attention feels uncomfortable, we can talk through gentle direction and a quieter portrait plan. We want the experience to feel comfortable for both of you.
Ceremony and speeches
Ask your officiant and venue about any restrictions on photography, filming, movement or sound recording. Share their guidance with us before the wedding so we can plan around it. Let us know about readings, surprises and speakers whose words are particularly important to you.
Send us the planned speech order and timings. If a speech is moving from the meal to later in the evening, check it is still inside the agreed coverage. Last-minute changes happen; a quick update helps everyone work together.
The final week
Confirm the latest schedule and key contacts. Set aside details you want photographed, such as stationery or meaningful accessories, so they are easy to find. Discuss a comfortable indoor option with the venue if you are hoping for outdoor photographs.
Then give yourselves permission to enjoy the day. A wedding does not need to look like a styled shoot to make a beautiful story. We will work with the people, atmosphere and moments that make it yours.
After the wedding
Keep our email address handy and check your spam folder for delivery messages. When your gallery or films arrive, follow the download instructions and keep your own copies somewhere safe. If you have questions about your gallery, get in touch rather than worrying about it alone.
